All SILVA Cribs are made of Solid Beechwood. Beechwood is a hardwood common to the Northern Hemisphere. Beechwood is similar to Maple and Oak in hardness but superior to these 2 wood essences in finishing and mechanical properties. Case goods (tension bearing parts) inner frame is also made of Beechwood.

One of the benefits of an adjustable mattress support for a baby crib is that it can be adjusted as your baby grows and develops. When your baby is a newborn, you can set the mattress support to the highest level to make it easier to reach them and change their diapers. As your baby grows and becomes more active, you can lower the mattress support to prevent them from climbing out of the crib.
