We are family of furniture enthusiasts with hundreds of years of combined experience in furniture manufacturing. Silva Furniture also contains other, more noticeable ingredients like Beech wood, water-based finishes, or German hydraulic hardware.

Founded in 1991 in South-Eastern Europe, Silva Furniture continues a family tradition which spans over three generations and six decades. "Family" operation means all our employees and customers are also family and yes, we have over 150 family members who are directly employed into giving purpose and a new life to the beautiful material called "wood". We know that a nursery is not just another room in the house, it's a command center where diaper changing, mind training and giggles all happen and yes, it can get hectic and complicated. But Silva is not complicated and it’s not made with those hard-to spell ingredients. You wood be happy to learn that all Silva cribs are made of Beechwood, one of the finest hardwood essences which is sustainably harvested in accordance with all FSC guidance. We plant 5 saplings for each Beech tree harvested at maturity so that we we preserve and protect our beautiful planet.
